The 2009 Conference will recognize all San Diego County Title I Academic Achievements Awardee Schools (AAA), Blue Ribbon Schools, Distinguished Schools awarded by the California Department of Education, School Districts that have the most conference participation, Front Line Principals that demonstrate effective Parent Involvement, School Selected Inspirational Teachers and Shining Star Schools that departed (PI status) program improvement.

Building Partnership through collaboration among parents, community organizations, teachers and administrators of Program Improvement Schools (PI) and Academic Achievement Awardee (AAA) Schools will also be the goal of the 2009 Title I Training Conference and working together to CLOSE THE ACHIEVEMENT GAP.

We anticipate a third visit from our San Diego County Office of Education, California Department of Education and the Department of Education.
